I know a lot of people have done this swap and posted how toos for hatches and notches, but when i was looking into this swap I couldn't find any info for convertibles. So I figured Id take pictures and do a little write up to hopefully help someone out.

The whole thing was relatively easy, I have an 8 pt cage that really got in the way so it wold normally be easier. The seats I got are out of an 04 GT convertible i believe.

I started by removing the back seat by unhooking the bottom seat. Then unbolted the two bolts on the bottom of the back that are a real pain to get to after pulling back on the lower part of it.

I tried putting the new seat back in as is but it was too wide. I didn't want to cut the seat up so I took the support metal off the back with two pairs of needle nosed pliars to pull the hog rings apart (I wanted to reuse them so I did not cut them).

I then pulled the aluminum back peice off the old seat which is held on with the rings and glued on. I used the rings I took off to hold the new leather and foam on

the bottom of the back seat is very simillar to the hatch and notch and involved cutting some of the foam and metal support off the bottom.

I ended up cutting out some of the metal used to hold the leather on so i pulled another peace of metal out to attach to

The top peace went back on just as it did before but the bottom I just wedged in there because it was such a tight fit between the cage. if you want to attach the bottom better than that I suggest looking at what 1991notchbackLX did here http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/767102-how-sn95-seats-04-cobra-fox-coupe-many-pics.html
This is how my rears turned out

The fronts are the same story as with all the other models. Unfortunatly I am tall so I had to ditch the nice power seats and put on the fox slider. I pulled the power one off by unbolting the four bolts from the bottom then the two screws that hold the controls on the front of the seat.

The fox slider does not fit perfect on the newer seat because it is not flat so I used my favorite BFH and persuaded the seat to be flatter.

I then cut the plastic clip that holds the bottom of the seat cover on and bolted up the fox slider over it to hold it on without the clip.

I could not flaten the seat all the way so 3/8" nuts worked perfect as a spacer

I did the same thing on both seats and they bolted right in place. I also had to take the seat belt holder things off because they were hitting the cage. I hope this helps some of you convertible owners out there
