I'm looking at trying to shed some weight from my 95 GT. However, this car is my daily driver, so I'm looking to shed weight wherever possible without impeding on the utility of the car. (in other words, the rear seat stays). I'm wondering what people have done to shed pounds from their stangs?
I've considered maybe doing a carbon fiber hood, or other carbon body parts. I've also considered maybe an aluminum driveshaft. What other methods would be worth looking at? Are there lighter front seats available that are comfortable and fit the tracks?

Thanks

This is all the stuff I've done that has somehow reduced weight:

Griggs tubular K-member
Griggs tubular A-arms
Griggs bumpsteer kit
Maximum Motorsports front coilover kit, 375# springs
Maximum Motorsports rear coilover kit, 250# springs
Maximum Motorsports road race lower control arms
ASP aluminum underdrive pullies
Bassani offroad X-pipe
95 Cobra R hood
Smog pump & plumbing removed
Sway bars removed
Quad shocks removed
Sound deadoning material in trunk removed
Tire jack/spare removed
Dog bone removed
Strut tower brace removed

And because it's a GTS:
Manual windows (stock)
Manual locks (stock)
No cruise control (stock)
Manual cloth seats (stock)
No fog lights (stock)
No ABS (stock)
No Mach 460 sound system (stock)

STB's are for weiners. Seriously, while I know they don't hurt anything, I'm not convinced that they do any good. Besides, it won't fit with the Roush intake.

I haven't had it weighed since it was stock. It was 3260# then. I'm guessing it's around 3050# now.
