snap, crackle pop!

Since it's bump related, it can also simply be loose end links. They take 7.2 seconds to check (do it with the car flat on the ground).

Good luck.

How do u check this...suspension stuff is not me...

With the car on the ground, just reach around under the car and wiggle the end link. If it's loose, it will make noise (tink tink or clank clank). If you can get your head under the car, you can see how squished the end-link bushings (they look like little donuts) are. If they are not a little squished, the end link can make noise.

The AIR discharge-pipe hitting the exhaust was a good suggestion too.

Good luck.

Check your balljoints out, too. Toss the front end on some jackstands and grab the tire at the top and bottom and see if it rocks. You should put the jackstands under the control arms to simulate suspension loading. If the tire deflects, you're probably looking at a balljoint replacement and picking up some 03-04 Cobra control arms with new balljoints already pressed in (plus new bushings) wouldn't be a bad idea.

this was exactly what i was planing on doing, that's how my dad told me to check...thanks man :nice:

Could also be the smog pipe hitting the exhaust. It is a long shot by the sounds you are describing, but it is wirth a look, and only takes 4.2 seconds to check.[/QUOTE

Ok ill take a look..is this the pipe that goes from the smog pump to the h pipe? im not to sure on this one neither....thanks man!

Yeah smog pump to the passenger side of the h-pipe.

When I go over bumps I hear noises under my car that sounds like a crackling or metal hitting something, its almost like a popping sound...any ideas?

The following come to mind:

1. Worn end links +/- front anti-sway bar bushings.
2. Worn inner/outer tie rod ends.
3. Worn ball joints.
4. Worn control arm bushings.

I have a different noise coming from my Stang when I go over bumps or when I'm slowing down but I'll post mine in a new thread instead of hijacking this one.
