Why does my ignition coil spark plug wire connector not look like any I’ve seen on the internet?

It’s not coming off like it should, I would think. I’m pinching the clips and pulling pretty hard but it isn’t budging. What am I missing?

Looks like you could squeeze the tabs with a pair of pliers then twist and shout
swearing optional.

After PS Pump and SFC. Gonna do the work myself, still reading and watching. Im as far as intake manifold removal .

Have you tried pushing down initially as you squeeze, it will take any tension or friction the clip tabs have off. Then twist and pull.

Can anyone tell me why my mustang is metric? It feels like every bolt prefers metric over SAE? Is there something I don’t know? Did I get a fake mustang? Lol

Everything but the battery back.

According to the instructions from the pump, I have left the return line off and into a container. Gonna flush until fluid looks pretty.

Yea I saw that. I considered.

I chose not too hoping I could be away with just the pump. I’m guessing my lines were original as getting off either of them from the cooler was a bear. So much so I decided not to replace any except the return line as I had to cut it to get it off of either the pump or cooler.

If this doesn’t go so well ill replace all the lines and maybe even the cooler. I was hoping to not have to do all of that though. If I do, I’ll definitely put in the filter. I found a thread around here on it. Thanks!

The auto industry has been working in the metric system for decades - I saw a copy of a 67 Mustang chassis drawing and all dimensions were metric. Most common bolts on our cars are 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 15mm and 18mm. That should get you at least 75% of bolts on the car

I’m thinking this return line is too long. Is there special routing I should be considering? I’m thinking at least 6”. What’s the deal LMR?

Anyone have any lighting setups they are proud of for working under the car laying face up?

My little led wand broke. It’s been OK, but nothing great. I think I can easily solve the working from above, but I’m curious what people like for when under the car on stands.

The drive train (engine, trans and rear end) are standard because they were in production for years, the body has metric fasteners.

Heater core? I’m guessing as I knew I had a leak but only when I had blender door to hot.

This started dripping when I brought the car onto the stands.

My coil pack is arcing to isteself. I assume this should be replaced? Does it matter which one? LMR seems to sell some beefy ones, are any of the upgraded ones worth it?
