Anyone use this?

http://www.musclemustangfastfords.com/tech/0407mm_snow/

It looks like the perfect answer to the problem of high intake temps due to the fact that there is no intercooler option for our kenne-bell blowers.

I am pretty sure turbo5.0 uses it. I think I also saw on turbomustangs.com how to make your own. I did not read all of that, but did they gain all that power by just the meth inj? or did they up the boost also?

i have one, but i havent had the chance to get my car tuned to get any numbers or to really see the potential of what it can do....

i second thought that Turbo5.0 uses one also... i think he had a video of his car with it on at one time...

Its not too hard to make your own.

1. A hobbs switch
2. bottle for the mix.
3. Water lines.
4. Nitrous nozzle.
5. An old fuel pump

Grant you, it wont have the spiffy MAF voltage based ramp up like most kits offer, but it will also be a couple hundred bucks cheaper. All depends on your definition of 'value'

Either way it helps rich out the mix, and bumps up the octane.

i read somewhere that using water with a fuel pump will cause the pump to lock up. fact or internet fiction?

I ran it on all of the set-ups except for the KB. I was going to tap the blower 2 days before it came off. It really needs it though b/c it runs hot as a mofo.
I have the stage 2 and it was worth every cent . I was going to make my own but rather pay for someone elses trial and error. I have the boost set to 8psi when it starts to spray.
I only use it at the track though. Do yourself a favor and get the 7qt bottle from Snow that goes into the trunk. I had to put it there b/c of the turbo but it still looks a lot better than the 2 I had under the hood before.

What kinda hp and setup with a KB would warrant a need for the injection? I'm presuming that the base level KB and a mostly stock 5.0 wouldnt see much need unless ur really upping the boost.

the kenne-bell blowers are big-time heat sinks, and there is no intercooler option for our model. after driving normally for 15 minutes or more, i typically see intake air temps of 215*. when the temps are that hot, it pings like crazy on part throttle tip-in, even with high octane fuel.
