So Embarassing ... [pics]

Well according to a tire size calculator on the net, the donut spare is shorter in diameter than the stock tire size. My donut spare (that came with the car from Ford) is a 125/90/15. Pretty tiny looking tire. It's 1.82 inches shorter than a stock tire. But, I'm not worried. I needed a t-lock rebuild anyways. Even before the spare was put on, sometimes I would only spin one tire in the rain. Makes me wonder why the t-lock is shot though, since I rarely spin the tires.

When I went out with my buddy tonight to finish off the tires, I did two very short burnouts and during one of the burnouts, both tires spun, then the driver side stopped (which was where the spare tire was). I shifted to second and again only the passenger side spun.

Soooo ... anyone know how much a t-lock rebuild goes for anyways? At the dealer of course.

That's not that embarrassing. You got a flat..it happens.

I willingly drove around for two weeks with 4 15" V6 wheels with no centercaps while i took my stock wheels off to go put tires on (i refuse to bring the car due to a prior "incident"). People actually thought I wanted the car that way

V6 rims/tires aren't too bad.

I put my Nittos on this morning and the car drives better now. I still need a t-lok rebuild, PCV valve, and brake pads though. Everything always seems to go at once.
