So Ford messed up my car...AGAIN. AntiFreeze in Cylinder.

In August I had my dealer do a plug swap on my 02 GT. A month later I ended up throwing a plug. Ford said that a lot of 4.6's blow plugs and that it was not related to the fact they just did a plug change. :Total-CP:

So they replaced my cylinder head and after about a week I noticed my car was hesitating and missing. Took it to one of my friends at a different dealer and the PCM said I was missing on #5. They pulled the plug and coil only to find ANTIFREEZE in my engine. :Damnit:

Of course this is on the oposite side of where I threw the plug (#4).

So now I am forced to bring it back to the old dealer and have them fix it. On top of that when I called they asked me to bring it in NEXT WEEK! I said no, I'll be there in 20 min.

So what could cause this. Head gasket, over tightened the cylinder head, or did they just really mess my engine up.

What should I be making sure they do? Since its under warranty and I am about to go to ford corporate and complain!

This does sound like a head gasket.Unforunately it doesn't sound like it was the dealers fault.Hopefully you have some of the warranty left.I don't know if a cracked intake could contribute to this or not.I'm sure somebody on here does though.Repost and keep us all updated.

That totally sucks, man. I know, I am having the exact same problem! I changed the plugs myself though, I know they were torqued perfectly but a couple weeks later, I had a plug loose and Im loosing coolant. Im still researching mine, as my warranty is LONG gone so ill have to do the work myself :notnice:

Mine is still under warranty, and I got my car back today.

What I was told is that antifreeze was spilled ontop of the coils, and there is none in the engine. Whether that is true or not I don't know.

But the car runs great again, and finally a nice smooth idle and no lag / missing.

Maybe they did something right this time, just took 3 trips to the dealer.

Thank god I got the extended warranty cause its paid for itself a few times over already.
