So here's what I pulled from my wrecked 90, for an MAF conversion...

on my 87. I got the MAF itself, and the plug on top, just cut the wires leading to it. The computer located in the passenger kick panel and the big plug on it, again just cutting the wires. Do I need anything else?

You will also want the mass air bracket that bolts the maf to the fenderwell. Plus you need the short rubber inlet tube that runs from the airbox to the maf and the longer tube that runs from the maf to the t body.

You shouldn't have chopped any wires to remove the MAF itself.. you need the wiring harness that you just wrecked in that car.

But im pretty sure thats all you need... mass air unit+sensor + computer + harness.

BTW. You don't *need* the bracket that holds the MAF down, many people here on stangnet including myself have the "floating maf" without the bracket, no troubles with that.

yeah, I didnt have much time. the car was at body shop and the insurance company was coming to pick it up ;) I also got my MAC cai so I will be using the bracket and tubes from that.
