After a nice dissapointing stint with pushrod foxes I finally got back into mod motor cars this weekend. I went to Dallas Tx (400 miles from me) to pu a 85 gt t top car this last weekend well, I got there and the car was not as promised and honestly a pile of junk. All is ok b/c we ended up finding a steal on a 98 Gt. White, tan leather (great shape), lowered, 17x9 04 cobra replica's, o/r h pipe, flow masters, short throw shifter, a few interior bling pieces. Overall the car is in great shape, (sorry no pics yet as its filthy and I didn't have time to get it clean yet. Only problem is it has a miss. No knocking or anything like that, just has a miss. Runs, drives, just sputters a bit.

I'm going to do the normal stuff, it has screaming demon coils and live wire plug wires, so I'm going to change the plugs out and ohm the wires to make sure one of them is not bad. It also has these fancy aluminum wire sepeators that I think could be causing some problems with arcing so I'm going to put plastic ones on. Is there anything else I should check before I dig into it and start compression checks. (I bought the car cheap enough that even if it needs a short block, I still stole it).

Oh, and how easy it is to remove the back dash, I need to scrape window tint back there and can't get my hand behind the mach 460 speaker covers.
