Yup. Right now my exhaust consists of the last two converters gutted and no cat-back. That stuff looks like steel wool and smells like crap. There was some cutting, welding, and smashing involved but its was pretty fun. Its loud too and I love it when Im leaving a parking lot and I hear a car alarm chirp, Ill reverse and rev it until I set that ****er off. Takes two, since my cars messed up a little. Its more funner when their rice cakes. Its like their screamin for their mama.

Eric, I think you meant to ask if we have an H-pipe stock (if the car comes from the factory with an H-pipe).

As opposed to it coming with a stock H-pipe, which it does (I was attempting humor above).

For me the stock 4 cat H is a love hate relationship. It really sucks for power and sound and its super heavy. But when it comes to smog time and i put it back on the car it cleans real well. My last smog i was so far under all the things it was great.

I swapped mine out a couple years ago for the Bassani catted X (only 2 cats) and I pass emissions easily. Catback was changed just before my last emissions test and still passed with just about the same numbers as before.

Aftermarket mid-pipes with only 2 cats are much louder than stock. My state/county is really strict about the emissions tests. None of the people who have done my smog test has ever asked about the missing cats or the new mid-pipe.

A stock H is 2 1/4" in diameter and my current X is 2 1/2".

I'm glad I don't have to get sniffed. It was up the tailend wasn't it?
