so many 5spd problems...easy solution...

since everyone keeps having problems with clutchs and cable strectching and all i've read about clutch less 5spd anyone know about these? what kinda difference is it really?

"Clutchless" manually transmissions aren't really clutchless. It's simply that a computer is used to activate electro-mechanical devices which engage and disengage the clutch. They are usually used in conjuction other devices which electromechanically change gears for you - usually at the touch of a button, or push/pull on a paddle shifter located behind the steering wheel. They have become options on mainly European high-end vehicles - BMW, Porsche, Ferrari are a few that offer the "clutchless" option on some of their vehicles. The computer/programming/sensors that's required to operate one of these drivelines is EXTREMELY complex - nothing is available currently to convert a Mustang manual tranny to this type of operation, and it won't become available. It would cost far too much for there to be any type of market for it.
