Well i removed the seat to install my sweet bullit pedals. They are awesome looking but they were a PITA to install(pics to come). Anyway i put the seat back in and then was adjusting it to my likeing when all of a sudden only one track would move. So i took the seat out and we took off the rack to find that whatever the motor hooks up to on each side of the track must have stripped cause one side would turn the track and one just openly spun. Basically a new rack is like 340 bucks, and i have seen some on ebay. Can i find that piece that the motor connects to anywhere? It doesnt even look like that part comes apart? Also does anyone have a working power track for cheap??

My power seat is out too. When I try to move it up and down a piece just spins on the side of the motor. When I try to go back and forth it moves only from the left side so my seats kind of crooked. I had to take the assembly off and manually get it to where I wanted it. I've been thinking of going to a junk yard to check them out. $300 bucks is a lot for a new one.

you should be able to find a used one people have them sitting around from when they put racing seats in and they don't want the 40 pound tracks put back in.

I have my manual rack just sitting in my garage because I raplaced it with a manual after one of the brakets that hold the seat up when you raise it broke. I got mine off obay for like 20 bucks. the dealership wanted 70 bucks per side.

I'm not positive on this but the 94-04 seats bolt right into a fox so I would think you can use tracks from a fox but it might lower you seat half an inch maby.

I got a manual track from Stangparts or MPS. I will note that I lost a TON of legroom doing this (if you are over 6', you might need to do some bracket modding anyhow. I'm 6' and my knees almost touch the knee pad).

I need to figure out what happened to my power track too (I lost fore and aft adjustments).

Good luck.

AWW I hate it when that happens, you have to be a contorshionist to get in there, lol.. Happened to mine a year ago and I pulled the connectors after a while and plug them back in and then banged o nthem and now it works again.
