OMG I dont know where to start. Well anyway I have a pile of parts and no get up to put them on. I just cant make up my mind on what to do with my stang, I have had this thing for 7 years and just cannot for the life of me make my mind up on what route to go next. I am not like many people on this board, right now I will just be happy with 400-450rwhp with my little GT. So what should I do????

--My Options----

Remember add a Forged Bottom-End to all builds below

Option 1 -
Port & Polished NPI Heads, PI Cams or Aftermarket, PI Intake, L/T's, Blower

Option 2 -
NPI Heads, PI Cams or Aftermarket, PI Intake, L/T's, Blower

Option 3 -
4v "B" Heads, Cams, L/Ts, Nitrous

Option 4 -
Sale It All, Take money save it for later, buy something else

Which would you do? I already Have sitting here, New Mustang GT Block, New NON-PI Heads, New PI Cams, PI Intake, Accufab Plenum & 75mm Throttle Body, Comp Cams Valve Springs, SCT X3 Tuner, 4v "B" Heads. Remember I dont wont any really high HP numbers just 400-450rwhp, and I already have supporting Tranny & Rear End Mods. Plus the mods I already have done to the car which are A/C Delete. BBK Underdrive Pulleys, JLT Cold Air, Zex Wet Nitrous Kit, Build 4r70W, B&M Hammer Shifter, Shift Kit, And Deep Pan, 4.10's, 31-Slpine Axles, ect.

So Stangnet please help me decide before I go crazy!!!! And YES I DO WANT TO STAY NPI and do this build and like 98cobra281 prove a NON-PI 2v can still be fun. All the stuff I am not going to use I will sale and make room for Blower if thats the route I should go.

Thanks,
Matt

why don't you start off small? Remember one step at a time! I would do the longtubes and pi-swap first, then start thinking about a blower...

Modified option three...

B heads, skip the cams, put that 1k + (potentially) towards a blower.

I wish I had your problem, lol.

That way you will have a forged bottom end, heads that flow really well, and a power adder that is less abusive than nitrous that you will have the potential to up the power at any point down the road and the 4v heads will help flow that air better than NPI's.

Being someone that has put a TON of money into my car I would do option 4.

Once you get a good chunk of change into your car its stupid to sell it (finacially). I would sell the parts save up and look into a 03/04 Cobra or an 05+ GT. Both of those are great cars and repsond to mods much better not to mention they will be 6+years newer.

i'd go with the forged bottom end. T-trim or novi 2K intercooled, blower cams ported heads and LT's. you'll be close to 500 and still have lots of room to grow.

dont forget your fuel system and drivetrain!

Either option 1 or sell it all off and save for something newer, when all is said and done your project will cost more than the worth of your car. Newer models are cheap as hell lately.

Sounds good to me, I will never sale my car I love the 94-98 Body style better than the rest. I have had this car for so long I just couldnt, has a centimental value. So I am going to go with 98COBRA281 and SaleenGT on this one, who cares if I have more than the cars worth in it when I am done. This is my hobby and its really the only thing I do other than see wife to be and work. Thanks for all you guys input I will be ordering cams, and other in the next couple days. I will prob build motor put in car make sure everything is good to go then drop in a Novi 2000 or D1SC Procharger.

Then Sale my Nitrous, ect. But I am going to keep the "B" Heads b/c I have a 5.4 Block and I might do somthing with that combo later LOL

Again Thanks,
Matt

you can use the N20 to spray the IC for a little extra power since you already have it.

who cares if you have more money in your car than a new one. by the time you mod the newer car you will have more than a cobra, by the time you mod the cobra you will have more money than a new vette costs.....it never ends.

i dont want a "new" stock car. i'd rather keep my old car that I BUILT MYSELF!!

Me to. I just like the fact more that I know every bump, and inch of my car. And knowing that and putting all this into it myself makes it funner than just going and buying something.

Ported 4V B heads, LT's, & a procharger or nitrous would be my choice.

F**k getting a cookie cutter 03/04 Cobra or 05+ GT just to be fast, keep what u have & build a unique car. Your SN95 is sweet, & silver is very rare in those model years....

With the amount of money I have into my car, I couldve had a whippled Cobra by now, but my car is unique, stands out from the rest, & thats what matters to me.

I also would go w/ option 1 if you can do the PP job yourself, or if you can have it done on the cheap(inexpensive that is). The only thing id change is, i would hold off on the blower until i had the rest of the money for it and just spray it til then. I also feel the same about my car. I'll keep modding it forever. I mean sure i'll some day have me a termi, but ole' faithful isn't going anywhere. BTW what ever happened to that Never sell it club that was mentioned Anyways, all your options are good ones you just gotta go w/ what YOU want

Put your forged motor togethor with the parts you listed that you have....then throw on a single turbo kit from someone like ponydown. Bingo, done....and quite easily I might add.

SaleenGT I found you a killer deal on a 03 cobra top end like you wanted, but they was bought before I could PM you. They was in my area, which isnt bad bad far from you.

Heads, Cams, timing chains, hoses, lower intake, eaton and more - $800 low miles I almost craped
