So...what do you think of this Rotrex Supercharger?

I've never really heard of them. Looks like some good benefits on the power end and none of the drawbacks of this type of unit. At the price, I guess you could just go KB. Its still interesting none the less. Of course...its only for '05 and newer, but who knows:

The seperate belt system is really nice feature. self contained system to only be changed every 50k miles. I believe Rotrex blowers are used on the Koeiningeggs (sp?) supercar. Its powered by a ford mod mill as well.

The originals but Koenigsegg now make their own motors

I just read about them in the last 5.0 magazine issue. Sounds like its has the top end of the centri and also has the low end power to compete with the positive displacement s/c's. I would really like to hear somebody that has one chime in. But sounds like it might be a pretty sweet setup from the article in the mag.

Looks to me like they are spinning it faster than your average centifugal. They approach turbo speeds actually, with a 90,000rpm limit. The compressor maps looks more like you'd expect form a turbo too.

I'm a little disapointed that they don't give a dyno sheet from a 3v engine. It'd be fun to compare that to a KB or another centr.
