So you see this fox at your local mom and pop restaurant kinda in the middle of no where. How fast do you think it is? Intercooler is no longer in the front. Got into this discussion last night, curious what you guys would think.

It's only an inch or two. What's the big deal?

It's really hard to tell how fast a car like that is by looking at it these days. That could be a 400 hp car, or an 800 hp car. You never know.

Everyone gets disappointed when they ask how much power I'm making and I say maybe 300 at the crank... They hear the cam and see the cowl hood and think I have a beast...

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

But if you were to guess what the car runs what would it be?

Foxes are weird like that. I see tricked out cars that would struggle with low 14s and absolute beaters that have an equally crusty stroker but runs sub 12 all day long.

beadlocks gives it away, i would think anywhere from high 8s to high 9s if i saw any fox body with beadlocks. Those will make everyone look closer.

Yeah... I overlooked the beadlocks. Might paint them black too for extra stealth.

So it's obvious it goes somewhere? The locals around here think it goes mid 10s. Figured I'd see what you guys thought.

All depends on if everything is there. I've seen people around here buy rollers of dragcars and install mild built/stock motors and just look fast. No cage, no laundry 11s-12s car maybe.

Mid 9 second car depending on weight and if it has a motor ( non condescending)
