Is getting a solar powered trickle charger any good? I drive my weekend warrior only every so often, so the battery usually drains pretty quickly due to inactivity.
Would a solar powered trickle charger be just the thing? Im looking at The Sunforce 50022 5 Watt Solar Battery Trickle Charger.
It comes with alligator clips and a 12v plug in adaptor. which leads me to the next question. I know my cigarette lighter doesnt recieve power when its off, but i can send power to the battery when its off, right? it behaves the same as thos car jump start kits that use the cigarette lighter? or do i HAVE to use the clips?
