well i just sold my 1996, so now all i have is the 1995. it was a good car, and it is in better condition than the 1995, but in the long run, i am sure i'll come out ahead because parts for the 5.0 are so much less expensive.

now i can focus more on the 1995! #1, fix the ac and vents ...

maybe i should change my username to Black95VertGT ...

Congrats man!! You could also just take the whole a/c mess off!! Less weight :nice: Good luck with your 95!
thanks! but i need the a/c. it is my daily driver and the summers in dc can so hot and humid that i can't have the top down on the hottest days. i can't live for long without a/c.

A PI swapped 96 would fit me pretty good, but I don't have any money...

I need to fix my AC too...it only blows out of the vents at the top of the dash and not from the center console or sides :bang:

Eric, mine do the exact same thing. I can't even begin to think why it doesn't work. Anyone ever told you how to fix it?

Thanks

The guys I bought the car from said he had it checked out and they said it was the diaphram that directs the air, guess it got stuck. Also my fans only work on the "Hi" setting and i'm told thats a resistor

that is why i sold the 96 and bought a 95. the swap, done the right way (port/polish, long tubes, and cams) would have cost about $3500. h/c/i on a 5.0 costs so much less it's not even funny.

here is a recent thread about the problem with the air only coming out the defroster vent. i have the same problem, plus when it does come out, it is not cold!
