And got a Grabber Orange one. It's a color you either love or hate, but I def love it. The black one was just too much of a PITA to keep clean, so we traded it in for this one. This one has leather, Premier package, 18 inch polished bullitts, Shaker 500 among other things. So bad ass.

My Favorite part: The wheels! No need for aftermarket now.

The one thing I REALLY like is the Premier package that has the leather wrapped dash, arm rest, and arms rests on teh door panels, along with the aluminum "colored" trim and pedals

And is runs so much better now that I have the intake/tuner, and exhaust on there.... Sounds a hell of a lot better too.

I do love it.

Nick

Yeah, I love it too. Just don't like fake scoops, so no GT Apperance package for me.

Well, my first 07 was black... Nuff said. Impossible to keep clean, and I'm a clean freak. That and I had a very bad rear axle whine that the dealer tried 6 times to fix then finally sent an engineer out to tell us it's "normal" But I just got a damn lemon. So before we put any more miles on it, we decided to trade it on on what we wanted in the first place. The S197 is just a better car x 1000 then the fox, as far as every day comfort and stock performance. But I would never give up my Fox for any S197.

Yes, it was. Any small rock chip or very light scratch was extremely noticable. And 4 hours after you washed it, it was so dusty that you might as well not even have washed it. Most people say the same thing... You will own ONE black car in your life, and never again. It's that much of a PITA

Then this is for you. The AC will almost blow you out of the car and it drives extremely nice. With the stock springs, the ride is un-Mustang-like soft.

Are the 06-07's better than the 05's? Some guys I know where saying that they had a little more power.
Nice looking car btw.

Nope. Same power. Very few real differences. The 07+'s are a little more rigid because Ford beefed them up for the GT500. But they're all really the same. Color choice and other options have def. improved though.

Never ask a guy with a username of Poopdawg this question.

It looks nice Nick. I'm not as much of a sleeper guy as you but I sure can appreciate the look.

I love the new body style. The interior is sweet. My dad bought a new GT500 and I love the car, I have put about 400 miles on it. The Shaker 1000 really pounds. How does the Shaker 500 sound? I have the Mach460 in my Cobra which is good enough for me, but every year the systems get better!!

It's not that bad. Everything I own is black, and always will be. Yeah, it doesn't like to stay clean, but I'm not that picky. Those california car dusters work great. I wash mine maybe once a week then just keep it clean with that thing.
Anyway, as you can probably tell, I would like the black one better, but it sounds like you had issues with it, and the new one is sweet too!
