this past sunday, i sold my chrome yellow 78,428 mile 99 GT. priorities i guess. i've been house hunting for a while now and have found a few that i like alot. before diving into a mortgage, i wanted to clear my debt. selling the car did that. i feel good about the decision and i think it was a positive move.

my 95 is still for sale and if the right person comes along and buys it, im wanting to get into another low mileage 99-04 car ( preferably white ). i have a set of 18x9/18x10 silver FR500's begging to be mounted. also a diablosport collecting dust.

The few miles i put on the car in the short time i had it, i enjoyed it. my car was bone stock and i was impressed how quick the car really was, to be what it was. that was my 1st mod motor car. later on, i think i want another one....just not yellow.

Well, good luck on the house hunting. I know owning a house has helped me more than anything. I know how to do a ton of stuff I didn't know how before and even remodeled my entire house on my own. Its also enabled me to repay a few friends that have helped me along they way with car stuff. Good luck! Nows a GREAT time to buy a house.

thanks buddy, i appreciate it. you are right. i havent checked the rates today but here in TN, 4 weeks ago i could have gotten a fixed 4.75 ! . week and half ago they were bouncing between 5.30 and 5.5

im hoping things will line it right so i can take advantage of the market

Shop around. Thats for sure. above 5 seems a bit high. I refied 1.5 yrs ago and it was 6 and that unfortunetly was just BEFORE the market took a dump. So you should be able to find 4.5 or lower depending on credit and down payment. Look at hud and other stuff for financing. Great ways esp if ur a first time home buyer. Try to do all ur credit hunting within a month or two so u don't get ur score shot gunned. Typically if u keep all the inquiries close together it won't hurt ur score too bad. Good luck.

ive looked at 20+ homes, explored 3 different avenues of mortgages ( at three different places ) and have the ball rolling on some of the entry paperwork. only have two checks on my credit so no worries about hurting my score yet. given my situation, id be satisfied with anything under 5.5 rate. in the 4's would be awesome tho.

thanks for the advice bud

I know how it goes I also sold my old 00 gt because of getting a house, well that and the price I was offered for it. But look at me now, I just bought my car and Im totally happy! So things can brighten in the future!:D
