First time in 11 years I have been "stangless". First time in 12 years I only have one car. Well, there was times only one car ran and usually the non running one was the Mustang. Fells odd but it's time to move on with my life, then maybe some day in the future I'll have the urge to get into cars. Now all I have to do is sell the TKO500 and a few other parts. Bitter sweet.... watching my dream drive away.

Probably be closer to a 2015 unless the Mayans are right. Mustangs after 93 don't really do it for me, but the newer one's do interest me. One day.... one day...

I'm an hours away....I can come take that TKO off your hands. It would be the least I could do to help you cope with your loss

Haha I'll probably have it up for sale soon Joe. It's funny how things work. My old 90GT was everything to me, maybe too much because it kind of consumed me. I became obsessed with it, which made me go overboard. I tore it down with the plan of making is something amazing, but the turn of events made it where I couldn't do so, and I tore it down too far. When I got some money, I decided that I just wanted a running foxbody and came on that 88GT, so I bought it because I thought it was a good platform, stripped the old one, sold the shell, and started on the 88GT. Well, for some odd reason the interest was lost. All I did was do some weight reduction and some suspension work. Running a 8.6 at 87mph was pretty damn good for a stock engine and stock AOD mustang. Over the years I learned some things... many of what I learned was from this forum. If I had the time and money and will power, I could have made it a badass car, but I just don't have it, so I'm getting out of it. Maybe one day again, but not now.

I hear ya man. Yeah, 8.6 is quick for a stock aod car. What 1/8th mile did you run? You ever go up to Paradise or Brainard? If you put it up for sale(TKO), hollar at me. Money is tight right now, but if the price is right I may be able to conjur it up.

It was at Paradise. I wanted to run it at commerce or silver dollar. It just seems that I never got it done. Oh hell, now I'm kind of missing it. I'll just make a comback with a new Mustang in the future. My goal will be to get a brand new mustang in the future and just keep it until it doesn't change ownership until my will is read.

I don't know how people drive performance street cars with Automatics. So freaking boring. I've been forced to drive box auto's as DD's for a while, and it kills me. Nothing like getting back in the GT and shifting my own gears.

If they're setup for drag racing, I guess. But I'm manual to the core. I DD one, in traffic, whatever the conditions.
