Sorry for the standard BS photos, but it's a sweet ride. And I'm sorry that the camera sucks...

I forgot to take interior shots (some really sweet Autometer guages done cleanly), along with the already nicer interior the Cobra has. Leather is of much higher grade and the suede inserts are great. Very comfortable.

I don't have the dyno sheets in hand but it ran out ~505rwhp on a Mustang Dyno last year down in Vancouver. I'm going to Marysville Speed 'n Custom next weekend to get it dyno'd ... and on a dynojet (a bit more common). Can't tell you the torque .. I just don't know ... but it's well over 500 ... the street tires (or lack thereof) certainly speak of this.

It's ****ing amazing I must say. Much more civil then my GT until you hit the gas and then it's an absolute monster. I'm mastering the art of rolling into the gas rather then punching it as hard as I could when I had the GT.

Ran 11.9 @ 122 back in August before it was mine with a horrible launch(es) but with that healthy of a trap speed and more time in the drivers seat (shifting, etc) it's gotta be closer to 11.5-7 with great traction.

Still getting use to the IRS, there is a bit more body roll but at the same time that's traction / weight transfer on the wheels. With 13'' Brembos on the front I do plan on open tracking this summer at least at Proformance. No plans to AutoX, this is just to heavy and the instant 500rwtq is a bit much.

Not quite as loud either, I'm sure the neighbors appreciate that. It an H pipe with Flowmasters and sounds absolutely phenominal. The gearing is great as well, which keeps the RPMs down which helps with sound plus having six actual gears is great to.

I don't have a complete parts list from the previous owner yet, but it's the basic bolt ons with a Steig Stage 3 Ported Eaton.

I've only owned this for two days and can already tell keeping this thing looking decent will be maddening.

And gas ...

Thanks everyone.

They're Toyo Proxies.

Yet to take this car in the rain (been a great weekend), but I understand it's no problem.

Way to F'n go!! That thing is awesome!!! Which proxes do you have?? I have T1-S fairly worn and they seem to hold really well, even in the wet. CAREFULL THOUGH, don't think anything will hold that 500 in the wet or dry if you get punchy..

Sweet Cobra and congrats Make sure you check the air/fuel when your on the dyno, should be between 11.5 and 12.0 on the big end.Make sure you've got a maf extender on there too. With that kind of power your entering the danger zone if its not tunes properly. Sounds like youve got a lower pulley also probably a 4lb lower with a 2.76 upper. p.s throw some subframes on there so you dont tweak the chassis and rear diff brace.

I remember when I upgraded from my 5.0 to this beast. Totally 2 different worlds! Just love it. I know exactly what you mean. You and I pretty much have the same setup. The instant torque is just insane. Congrats.

122 mph indicates power enough to put you in the high 10's, not mid 11's. You need only traction and sturdy enough frame supports to keep the rearend attached to the car (You'd probably need a solid rear axle +).

Weight and traction are the big issues in these Cobras. Thats why you hear all of us talking about how awsome a motor this things got but the numbers aren't quite what they should be.

It's all in the suspension. The power is certainly there.

I built the rear end in the GT for the sole purpose of handling adequate amounts of power (31 spline Mosers, Eaton Posi) and actually the new owner of the GT is willing to make the IRS - > Solid swap like I mentioned previously.

IRS fits his needs a little better then mine and hopefully something happens with that soon. I do like the smooth ride of the IRS for a daily driver and need to make a few trips to the track before really making a decision.
