Would I be able to use the boost control solenoid from an '88 turbo coupe on my '85 SVO. If so, which side does the red wire go to and so on with the yellow wire?

yeah probably. The stock boost control solenoid scares me because I used to get alot of fluctuation until I switched to the mechanical ric gillis.

hey 351W, i finally got my project running right. I ran the stock BCS for a while and as you mention got some spikes and other silliness (usually would spike up to 15 then settle down at 10, give or take) ... switched to a gillis and the boost control is great but seems like it spools slightly slower than it used to... you ever have any issues like that... how can you make these things spool faster, besides switching turbos that is?
