i was thinking of going with solid motor n tranz mounts.. my stock mounts r cracking..

i want to kno the good and bads of going solid

Solid mounts have never really been recommended on a street car. Too stiff.

solid mounts will trasmit way to much vibration for a daily driver. If your looking for a cheaper upgrade get some convertible mounts....they are cheaper than poly-mounts but stiffer than regular ones.I think 5.0 resto still has them.

i dont mind the vibration.. kinda makes it feel bad azz.. i want good power transfer... i have a regular car.. and will drive this 1 on th estreet here and there i just dont want 2 be breaking stuiff cauz the mounts r 2 stiff

I like to run the solid motor mounts and a poly trans mount on a street car. That prevents breaking the bellhousing.

They are fine on mine. You will deff feel the vibration but its not unbearable.

does it feel like u get more power 2 the wheels?? kinda twist the frame more on a launch?

Solid motor mounts with a poly tranny mount is the way I am going as well.

I'd recommend poly trans and motor mounts, stiff but still absorb/dampen engine vibration

Solid mounts don't transmit as much vibration as people generally think they do. I don't mind them -- or hardly notice them really.

I'm sure the more power and rougher the idle the more you will, but I still think it could be dealt with.
