When I left work this afternoon I noticed this on my car :

It could have happened while it was parked at my house (I live in a condo so we have a shared parking lot) or at work. I just know it had to of happened in the last couple of days. I will run through our security cameras at work. Looks like a new paintjob is not that far off after all...

How did some a-hole put the reflection of a guy with a camera in your paint? I smell insurance scam.

Had this happen to me at the gym few months back, didn't see it till hours later on the passenger door, went back vaguely remembering which spot I was parked in and the truck that was next to me, matched up the profile and white scuffing on its door to the 6 inch crease on mine, ended up the guy worked there, confronted him and he paid, well insurance did.

Is there something that I could buy to try and remove some of that white paint? And no it doesn't look like there is any dent there. Thank you.

I'd start with a mild abrasive. There are usually 3 levels of abrasives and usually

Stage 1: buffing compound
Stage 2: machine polish
Stage 3: hand polish/glaze

Although stage 3 sounds like it is meant to be used like wax and won't do much it's a misconception. Start light and work your way up. If you have a buffer use it with the appropriate pads, if not get your hands ready for a workout.

When done buffing it off, I would put a fresh wax on her.

Fml. I hate this place more than you do. Trust me. But if no one is here to tell these sandal and sock wearing hipsters how wrong their patchouli loving lifestyle is, they might spread their infection. Really, I'm doing the nation a service.
