Hi Everyone, first time post here. I was hoping to get some help from my fellow 5.0 lovers. I finally have some cash to dump in my 89 SSP 5 speed, and bought a 95 cobra 5.0 motor with new forged pistons, stock rods and crank, new gt40X heads, E303 cam , 1.6 rockers and 30 pound injectors, and a trick flow track heat intake. I am planing on buying a rebuilt world class t5. I am also planning to get a 9 lb powerdyne supercharger ( I know most people dont love these things but the fact that it is not noisy and very inexpensive has me sold).

Anywho , I need some advice on what size throttle body, mass air sensor, and fuel pump to get. Also would I need an adjustable fuel regulator? I am looking at maybe getting one of those 350 dollar intercoolers on ebay for the powerdyne, any one ever try this?
Thanks in advance for your time.
Much respect,
Bo Wahl

Geez, I can't believe you don't have a hundred responses by now, but fwiw, here goes.
With the powerdyne, I say a 70mm TB, 80mm MAF, bump up to 36 lb injectors, a 255lph pump and a afpr. Never heard of the intercooler you speak of.

You can run a FMU with your 19lb injectors if you really want to. But you won't be making as much power and those things are not the greatest.

In all honesty if you bought all of that stuff for your car and you need a new MAF, why not just buy new injectors instead of the FMU? Most speed shops can tune your car for the street so you wouldn't even be able to tell the difference in driveability...

If it were me I would jump right up to 42 lb injectors, 80mm maf, Walbro 255lph high output pump, I think it's a GSS340?, and a Kirban AFPR. Then when it's all together, DON'T drive it until you get it on the dyno and dial in the A/F ratio and timing correctly. And speaking from experience, even low RPM idleing and cruising can destroy and engine if your a/f ratio is off. Nothing like washing the rings out due to being to rich or blowing things up being to lean.. The tune is a must.

the 30 lb injectors come with the motor and all the parts I listed. Just want to get my parts lined out for when the motor shows up so I can get to work.
Thank you for the reply
