I've tried searching around this forum but I dont really know what I'm looking for. Here's a pic of what I'm having trouble with:

The wheel behind the blue pulley is my problem. It wobbles kinda bad. What I want to know is, is that the harmonic balancer, or what exactly is it? And where could I find one for a decent price? I looked on summit's website and found something that looked like it and they called it a spacer. Any ideas?

Thanks

no thats your balancer... it goes bad from time to time... and you say its wobbling... check the bolt for it... if thats loose thats not good since this is connected directly to your crank... it wobbling has gotta be tearing up your mains and bearings... get a new one if its not the bolt thats broken... but yeah thats your harmonic balancer/damper fluidamper is a nice unit... and summit sells it relatively cheaper than most... good luck

Dude, I had soooo many problems with the balancer that summitt gave me. They shipped the P.O.S with spacers. Spacers that didnt match up to my pulley alignment. It turned into a 3 day project, and I actually said the hell with it and bought a Ford OEM balancer. Put that one on in like 10 min, fit perfect and no problems like the summitt balancer.

Also if the bolt is not loose then You might be seeing the rubber spacer squeezing out of the balancer.. either way ! Replace that bad boy

I just love these two icons :spot:
