when i turn on my stereo i hear some static no matter how low the volume is, and when i turn my blinkers or headlights on they thump in my speakers, like as the signal goes it just keeps thumping along with the signal almost like a heartbeat, someone said it is the radio filter, which is a little black box that filters out static and other noises i guess. also i have an after market cd player but i still have the whole mach 460 system. also the stock tape deck is gone. i have no clue what is causing this, someone said it could be a ground, could my front speakers be blown? thanks

I think that if you hear the sound only when an accesory comes on then the radio is picking up the noise and playing it through the pseakers which would leave me to believe that it is the ground on you aftermarket CD player. Trying cutting the ground off the deck and out it on another ground that nothing else is on. Just my opinion though.

Once you take the CD player out, it should be the black wire coming out from it, also it should be marked or labeled but could not be.

Look up your units model number on the company website to download the manual.. Most sites keep a reference of pdf's. If the web doesn't have it call them up and ask a tech which wire it is. Usually they'll be nice and give you 5 min on the phone to help you out.
