looks good :nice: how much are you spraying on it?

have not sprayed any on the new setup yet . On the old setup(c9 heads with stealth intake) with a 150 shot the car went 11.18@123 and was going 12.08@112 all motor all done on 3.73s and 26inch slick. The new setup(tw heads with vic jr intake) has acheived 11.74@116 all motor and i think friday i will be spraying a 100shot (carrying the 150 jets with me) as i journey into the 10 second range. I expect the car to run a new best all motor time too thanks to the 4.10s and 28 inch et drags. A bunch of the local guys i have talked to said there is no reason it should not run 10.60s. Im mostly worried about my block though:shrug:

I don't see the gear and tire swap helping much on motor b/c the taller tire is going to negate the gear swap.

It will go 10's on the hit!

thats what i was thinking..... the gearswap was counter acted by the taller tire. But then i got to thinking that the meatier tire should pick my 60fts up some dont you think? It was spinning a little b4

im hoping for high 11s looks like your gonna be into the mid 10s
 
i had to swap the 4cyl springs out of the car last night on a little bit of an evening drive to the local sonic because the 28s were rubbing on the inside of the wheel wells and on the fender, i was just going to roll the fender but it started eating into my paint. I think i will just roll it right b4 the car goes in for a new paint job this summer. As far as the inner wheel wells go, I beat the living hell out of them with a 5lb sledge hammer last night:) im not going to tub the car EVER

trust me.....im dying to get the car on video.....it is hell finding a decent track day here. The oklahoma weather changes in the blink of an eye. Earlier this week it was 85 degrees and tomorrow they are calling for SNOW.......thats right SNOW in APRIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:nonono:

Not really...

It basically allows him to KEEP the gear ratio he had... but with a larger footprint tire... = better traction and better hole shot.

Its a good move on his part IMO.

this is what my thinking was when i swapped the gears..... i liked where i was going through the traps at but was wanting better 60ft times......the most fun is had before the 330 mark i always say:nice:
