This is why you dont supercharge the GTs or Mach 1's. The 03/04 engine is 8:1 compression... The others are 10:1 add boost and the compression goes through the roof. You need race gas to keep it from pre-detonatiating. You basically take a engine that should run 100k miles easy and give it about a 10k lifespan.
