My 91 (w/ auto) is having some drivability problems. it has about zero power and when I push the pedal to the floor to lock up the torque converter, it only slowly creeps along. It's also shifting hard (especially into and out of first gear) and idling kinda rough.
I just took it into a transmission shop for a free estimate and the guy told me that the trans was fine, it's something engine-related.
The ACT/IAT is throwing codes and that's the next thing on my list, but I thought I'd check with the stangnet crew and see if there's something else I should check while i'm under the hood. anything come to mind?

ps. About the only things I've done to it so far are replace the spark plugs (all 8), 02 sensor and the vacuum modulator on the trans.
