Hmm alright yeah the kit im ordering is not compareable to yours mine is a 76mm precision turbo and the warranty on all the components is about 4 years on piping 2 years on turbo lifetime warrantt on headers so i mean theres reasons why b and g are more expensive

The weak components in the kit are easily replaced, and you can always upgrade. They basically went cheap on the bov and the wastegate and turbo. Thats the only reason why the kit is really cheap. asides from the cheap boxing and burnt instruction manuals that you need to print off. They put the money where it matters and thats fine with me. I can always upgrade my turbo if i INTEND on making more then 16psi. And i can always upgrade the bov and wastegate if they start to go.

The issue is that when those cheap chinese BOV's and WG's fail, they ruin turbos and entire engines due to the shards of cheap castings and metal flying all over the place.

You said it, Also the fact that the waste gate in these systems can cause extreme boost creep. But! There are people running these kits with no problems with the bov and w/g provided. The turbo (on3 house brand) is made at the same factory as the master powers were. I've seen cars running these kits with on3 turbo go past 40k and still kicking.

Good for you, man. I have always been about bang for the buck, and if that kit works for you then more power to you. I've been crawling on and under foxes since about 1985, and back then I had NO money. Period. You don't get a lot to work with bussing tables and flipping burgers. This is why I'm so careful how I spend my money, I was trying to go fast with nothing years before I made any decent money. I probably would have bought the kit myself had I not discovered what a dick the owner of the company was to his customers. I'm just thankful I have the means now to explore other options.

Another question. I am curious about maf install. The instructions aren't that clear. Am I supposed to have a drop in maf with a pro-tube and cut the piping and fab together? Or am I supposed to use the piping provided in the kit and drill it out and insert the meter with clamp? I still haven't received my kit yet. Hopefully I can get more info once I do.

Dont use the MAF from them i have heard bad things like them not working or being calibrated wrong..etc..The shop that did my work installed a PRO-M..last year they did a kit and used the MAF supplied with the kit and had alot of tunning issues...so they told me not to even buy it...i went with what they said...my car runs nice with a PRO-M....

To be honest with you Money wasnt the issue...i spent over 10k on the car with parts and labor to do the turbo..heads,intake,parts,labor,tunning....i just wanted to try the On3 kit it doesnt work out After awhile no biggie i will go with another turbo kit...if My worked AOD goes ..looking into a worked Lentech AOD...need a cage now and sub frames in then car to be painted and a new top...Like i said..money wasnt the reason i went with the On3 ..being it was a cheap kit i liked it..so i wanted to try it....I could have bought a Hellion or a B&G...etc.,..And to those saying it will be on jacks stands NOPE it wont,it will be fixed that day...or week...lol....and if the turbo goes i get another one...if it hurts the motor..i buy a better motor...lol
