Well I got some more appearance mods. (I guess the hood is arguably functional since my KB doesn't rub the hood insulator anymore) I still need pins and hood struts then it's done for this year...damn midwest Now I get to work on brainwashing the wife for a T-56 swap and I know my window is filthy.

Do you find that hood to be big enough? I know harwood makes a 3" cowl.
Im unsure what size to get, i want it big enough to be noticed but not so big i need a copilot.

Yeah, I've seen people sitting across the street at redlights staring and pointing to their passengers so it seems to get attention. I'm short and wanted to go HO fibertrends so going over the 2-1/2" to the 4" would mean I would need to install a parascope.

yup cant argue about the 03-04 bumper either man!! Whats the deal with the whole hood pins thing. Aftermarket hoods have a problem staying on or what? Cause well if you ask me, hood pins would look like crap on there.

Thats actually a 99-01 Cobra bumper, which IMO, is better looking than the 03-04 bumper....

BTW, the car looks great man. Some tasteful & simple exterior mods that flow together well.....

aftermarket hoods are lighter and sometimes dont latch as well, hood pins look good if you do them right the first time with good quality pins

heres a pic of mine

Thanks guys...yeah it's the 99/01 Cobra bumper. The hood is scary light (22lbs) and can flex so sometimes if the pressure builds enough it'll flex past the latch and if the secondary doesn't catch it....boom. I'll have pins to put on soon but, it's the end of the season here and I probably won't drive the car much more. I can move the latch up and let it catch easier after the pins too, the hood is a real tight fit to get it to latch. It fit perfect though I bolted it on dropped it down and the lines were exactly how my stock hood was, and I have 0 wobble at highway speeds.

Deft, are those Ford racing pins?

Looking good. I also love the Cowl hood. It really looks good and the color of the car is great too. How is the visibility of the gauges you put in??? I am looking at gauge options and I think that is the closest to looking stock that I can get. (I am also thinking of fabbing a panel where on of the stock radio slots are or where the clock is(SN95)).
