Can someone identify they two plugs and where the other ends come from.

Plug A:
There are two wires going into it. The wires are black or dark green with a yellow stripe. It was originally over around the drivers side strut tower. The plug has two prongs inside of it.

Plug B:
It is in a harness up near the fuel rails and injectors. It has two wires going to it and one is red and the other side grey with a yellow stripe.

Please someone describe to me where the other ends of these two plugs are and what they look like. I can't find the matches. If it try and hook them up together it starts smoking and stuff so i don't think they are each others match. Please someone help...this is keeping me from getting the car completely back together :(

Thanks,
Rustin

Top one looks like the connector that joins to the small 2" harness that goes to the a/c compressor. When you delete the A/C (or factory cars without it) you disconnect the harness there so you don't have 2-3" of wire hanging around in the compartment.

Bottom one is the connector that runs to the charcoal canister. If the canister is deleted, that;s where you can disconnect it from

the top harness is for the a/c compressor, i was actually looking for that harness for a while. the other harness lokks like it goes to the coolant temp sensor on the lower intake manifold. how does your car run? has it been like this for a while? those look like the harnesses, the 1st harness lays around near the coil and stuff right? the 2nd comes underneath the upper intake, im pretty sure thats where it comes from. I wouldnt worry about the a/c harness unless you wanna run a/c. the 2nd harness i would connect. that is a vital sensor for the computer to read. that tells the comp what the engine temp is so it can adjust fuel curve, timing and the like.

good luck

The problem is that i moved all the wiring to the fenders and i can't find either of the harness for these two. I didn't cut anything so they must be just hidden somewhere. Do you have any pics showing where the other part for the bottom one is...i can't find it. I wanna figure both out cause i don't want any disconnects harness.

lol i figured it out guys. I had the two parts that go to each of those connectors connected :owned: Just gotta figure out why the starter is staying engaged for a few secs when the car starts and than i'm all done and can finally take her for a spin with the new parts :spot: Thanks again for the help!
