i was modifing my h-pipe and it was sitting up by the garage and someone stole , think it was the junk guy driving around and now my h-pipe and rear o2 sensors are probably going to the salvage yard. so now i dont know what to do, i was going to just buy a h-pipe until i realized my sensors went w/ it

your pretty much f ed... salvage yards wont take parts because they fear that they are stolen.. there isnt any serial #s on em.. so its up to you to find it really..
that sucks.. one time someone drilled a hole into my buddys diff cover and filled it with sand.. its pretty much on you..

For some reason catalytic converter are a hot item to steal now. People around here have woken up in the morning to find theirs cut right off their cars. If your mid pipe still had the cats on then that is probably what they were after.

do i have to put o2 sensors in, cant i just put a o/r h-pipe in a thats ir or does it need them? btw i called to report it stolen just because and the sherriff came over and i told him what happend and showed him where someone spray painted f u on the tree in my front yard and some other stuff in the road w/ a can that was taken from my house. when i said i think it might have been the junk guy, he said "oh, well he prolly thought it was trash," and basicly said that sucks and that it was ok because it was the junk guy. now i know if i got caught taking a piece of exhuast or any piece of metal from someones house i would be in all kinds of trouble. then he left w/ out even making a report
if i buy the tuner and turn them off, there dosnt have to be any there right? w/ an o/r mid pipe is there holes for the sensors or not, if there is what do i put in there to block them off, why do i need ford sensors and how much do they cost? the metal from the cats was in the trash i didnt know it was worth money

people steal the cats off of SUV's around here... you can take them to shops and get 40-50 bucks usually a piece for them.. i know of a nissan shop around here that offers 30 bucks for an oem cat from a 240... all the platinum inside is what makes people go after them...

For front O2 sensors, you want Ford/Motorcraft sensors. The cost is about $60 each, IIRC. There have been many posts on this board and others that show the non-OEM sensors do not get the job done. If you are going with an off-road pipe, you won't need rear sensors (they can be turned off in the tune or you can install MIL eliminators.

You're joking right? Homeowner's Insurance? Sure, he could file a claim...if he dares. Understand that he is in FL, where we are lucky to be able to find HO insurance and after the wave of hurricanes a couple of years ago, we all are paying HUGE premiums now. The LAST thing he would want to do is file a claim. In addition, $500 is the typical deductable (although we just rasied ours to $1000 to help lower the premium a lil bit).By the way, I have an OR H pipe sitting in my shed collecting dust - interested? I think it's MAC. Local pickup only...Make me an offer.
well i found one of my o2's on the floor i must have takin it out i found one more on the piece of the h they didnt get so i have two. the one if the front passenger side and idk where the other one goes does it matter? i dont think the home owners will give me anything anyway. regaurdless i now have nothing to drive. cops are retards and dont care cause im a kid, the area where i live just hired about 100 new cops i believe, they go on heli rides and radio in to write tickets and what not and hide around the corner and help people cross the road when they go to church so why cant they find my pipe or atleast write a report

how would someone make off with 40 g's worth of cats.. even if you have 10 guys with sazalls.. it would still take you a few hours.. and loud as hell..
