The factory alarm is good for taking up space behind the left trim panel in the trunk, as well as engaging itself when it is not supposed to. I have a friend with a highly modified '94GT who had his car stolen three times in one year, when he lived in Arizona. Now, he has removed much of the factory wiring harness and, in the case of the alarm, installed two hidden switches that must me simultaneously tripped to start the car. The alarm is long gone. It is pathetic that people mess with customized cars. The have no appreciation!

No, its very time consuming to do so. They can crank the engine but it wont fire up.

jeeze...sorry to hear crap like that happening... really irritates me...

-before I even drove my car back in High School, I installed an alarm that if it is activated, the car can't be started unless the remote unlocks the car... some sort of engine kill thing, I like it at least.

Whatever ones are left park the nicest alongside the house behind the fence.

Its probably the same spinless cack sucker that stole your tach last summer.

actually mr DD... the car pretty much had a thick layer of dust on it from the garage.. no really though, the gargage is somewhat cleaned out and yes the 03 stays in the garage and my car is locked up under the boat thing on the side of the house with the gate locked. but yeah ti sucks. makes me feel better though that in order to steal the damn car you need a programmed key or it WILL not start.
