well my fat ass friend (no longer allowed in my car) was using the top of the window to help him get out. it popped off the plastic triangle where the mach speakers would be, and pulled the entire window inwards about 2 inches at the top, popping it out from the vertical rubber guide it sits in where the mirror is. i got the window back in place, but it will go down noisely about 3" then stop, then when i put it back up, there is a 2-3 millimeter gap from the back of the window, to the rear window, so when its up i can slide 3-4 pieces of paper through, when normally it sits another inch back. it went down once all the way, but it made alot of crunching and popping noises, and shifted front to back. is something broken inside or did it fall of the track? hes willing to payfor it either if i go to the shop or if i do it myself, so i wanna see if i can get some free money. help please.

friend huh.........? Real friendly of you, anyhow:

just take the door panel off and see if you can see anything by letting the window up and down little at a time..... it may have broken the rabs on the window that guide it... i replace some of mine when i did the motor rebuild for the power window....

remove the door cup, remove the screws behind it, holding the door panel to the door, remove the push pin located on the side of the speaker cover.... pull door panel up, and then out...... it should come out, then you will have to remove a couple harness' etc...
