Things are a little slow in here since the onset of the winter season has begun. I have ventured over into the '05 forum and started a thread that some of you might find interesting reading during a down moment here. The title of the thread is.... "What if it wern't what it is?"

The topic became a bit sidetracked due to a statement I made which was slightly incorrect, but, overall I think its a thread that is worth reading...especially if you are into things like what drives thinking behind people's opinions of any Mustang. :D

It's interesting and enlightening in some ways, and I would like to hear some of your thoughts (about the topic) too! That goes for you too Wart...even though I suspect you may not find enough logic in all of it for it to be worth commenting! :rlaugh: However, there's a lot of thought in posts that could support the thinking of the quote used in your avatar.

Thanks Dale,

I liked your comments there, and am happy that you were entertained at the same time. :D
Unfortunatly however. it seemed a certain poster just didn't want to answer the original questions tho, (about the '05's) ....after getting hung up on a relatively insignificant point mentioned in one of my earlier replies about the II's weight. While he was gracious enough to give the Mustang II the credit it is due, it's unfortunate that the thread veered off course...possibly because of his inherent dislike for II's in general.
Anyway, I respect his opinion, because it's just that, an opinion. As a new owner of a II, you will hear many in the coming years...some good, many bad. Gring and bear it while you enjoy your car...they aren't a dime a dozen, and are well worth holding onto if you are patient enough to deal with their flaws and lack of parts availability. Happy Thansgiving!

You were doing such a fine job at keeping the thread readable. I had to throw the barb in.

Yes, Real cars don't have cup holders. ;)

Well, I put that in there as a bump.

I only skimmed the thread. I'll try reading it later.
