Tonight I was driving with a few frineds and hangin out in a parkin lot. Some of them wanted my to do burnouts, so I did a nice donut(or 2:p ) but now my 1st and 2nd gear are bitches to get in. I literally had to push the clutch petal, which felt like through the floorboard, and jam the shifter into gear to get it in first or second. I first thought I messed up the tranny:shock: , but then I realized it could be my clutch cable stretched or something, causing me to not be able to get it in gear. I have a Steeda Tri-Ax If that makes a difference. Any suggestions on what the problem might be???:SNSign:

Do you have an adjustable clutch cable, or the stock cable / quadrant? Also, what clutch do you have and how old is it? I would lean toward it being a clutch problem rather than the trans

Well im 18 and i learned quick after i broke just about every part in my drivetrain this and last year alone...you beat the hell out of your car...its going to break alot! And **** ain't cheap.....I just pulled my tranny for a rebuild....i don't really see how your clutch could cause somthing like that, but sounds like a syncro' or something along those lines to me...but im no expert...just my opinion.

Yea thats what I was thinking. Clutch was replaced 15,000 miles ago and I have the King cobra clutch, I alos have the stock cable and everything, but I forgot you could pul out on the clutch to adjust the spring. I did that and it worked. So problem fixed I guess, thanks though.

oh and i RARELY dog on let alone drive my car. I am 16 and the Mustang is my nice day/weekend driver. I have an 83 ranger as my DD but I had it out cause it was a nice night and there were some fine ass chicks watching. I just had to showoff alittle. I am glad nothing broke.
