I've been working at my new job for 3 weeks now and I've learned that I am completely clueless about cars.

I've learned that...

-Cobalt SS/Redlines are faster than Mustangs but only "keep up" with EVO's

-Tiburon GT's come with 300 hp

-A supercharger and a blower are different

-Nitrous is measured in pounds instead of HP (I.E. He's spraying a 10 pound shot of "NOS".)

-If you have a stock motor and you want too add a turbo or supercharger, you MUST add "NOS" to keep the motor from blowing up

-Supra's,RX-7's and 3000GT's were to fast for the united states so the government banned them from being brought here.

-Supra's,RX-7's and 3000GT's made 276hp

-55,56,57 Chevy's weighed 5600-6000 pounds

-A high 8 low 9 second 5600 pound 55 Chevy can get traction on the street with street tires

-Skylines werent made after 91

- A 926hp/726tq 69 Camaro can burnout and wheelie at the same time for 200 feet while cracking the frame in half.

There's many more, I just cant remember them. How can people be so stupid? You dont even want to hear what they have to say about Mustangs.

everytime i meet someone like that i laugh at them while they are making comments like this, and keep laughing till they ask why are you are doing so. Then just keep laughing and walk away.

I picked my buddy up from his job at KOHLS once, and 20 ricers came running out with him. they were all pointing to thier riced out (fart cans and ironing boards) cavaliers and and civic's and were trying to talk about cars. it was horrible some of the dumb crap that comes out thier mouths. "They have a HiPo catback, and can keep up no problem" and all that crap. they were giving a lot of compliments though, you could tell they were trying really hard...

I had a guy while I was eating at Sonic a week ago ask me if I had a 5 spd or a t-5... I told him neither, it was an auto... he said, "oh, well the t-5 is a pretty weak unit, I blew mine on my civic when i was pushing 25lbs of boost through the stock one..."

I drove away... completely and utterly confused.

OH YEAH!!! like my cai added like 30hp mang, yo and the obx muffler added like 25!!!! When you say fart can, they are like why you hatin mang, ill beat your mustang when I get my turbo and a ls engine for my integra, blah blah. And my absolute favorite, guys runnin a cavy in the 1/4 runs a low 16, barely spins off the line, like for 1.56 nanoseconds, and the tuner crowd says, dude you need slicks man!!!! It was an auto even!!!

A guy at work found out I own one and tells me he has a 90 GT with a 547 stroker with 3 "BIG NOS" tanks and a world class T-5 but cant take it to the strip because it's "too fast".

They are pretty fast stock. Friend of mine has a Cobalt SS and he stays door to door with me in my '03 GT. I've run a 14.1 in that car so he's pretty quick. He's done an upgrade kit with a pulley, exhaust and tune so it's faster now Very impressive for a 4-banger

aren't they supercharged? I hate it too. some guy was telling me tonever use nitrous and that a 75 shot will kill my motor on the first "squirt", cuz it did on his civic....

A pulley swap and other supporting mods can do them wonders.

Yeah, I knew a guy with a Colbalt SS with that upgrade package, the pulley, exaust and a CAI or something, he pulled about two car lengths from 20-60mph on my Silverado. Not too bad.

There used to be a guy that ran around my town with a yellow SRT-4 Neon, it was suposed to be pretty badass. I was at a stoplight and he rolled up besides me. My freind who is always talking smack to ricers starts with him and says "I bet you can't get ahead of this truck across the intersection." The guy burst out laughing. Well, when the light turned he didn't seem like he was going to go, but then he waited until I got rolling and then I heard him open it up. Not only did my truck pull the SRT across the intersection, but I was ahead until I let off, because it was a 35mph zone and I was already past 45mph. The little peon was pulling back up but still....

shoot, the svo's are still faster and cheaper to mod, $50 for a boost controller, and 25-50hp increase, goin from like 10 psi to well over 20 about 24 in my case, that thing would haul!!! but was a pita.

I was out for a couple hours tonight in the GT and the best I had was some old lady in one of those electric cars trying to pass me where 2 lanes merged into one. We all know that wasn't gonna happen

i hate ricers... thats all. Almost every single one of them think they can keep up with anything with a exhaust and CAI upgrade. Little do they know it adds close to no hp. And if they do have money for a turbo, they turbo a stock motor just to say they have a turbo, Oh and they HAVE to have a BOV just to get that "fast" noise. Sorry about the rant, i dont like em.

Seriously the best race Ive had was against a LS-Vtec Integra w/ a fully built high compression motor. Im conviced all the mustang owners around here are elderly... lol
