Those codes aren't really anything to worry about.

67 usually if clutch not pushed in during code read. Code 85 is Charcoal canister

Car should still run

The 'no starting' issue? I doubt it, check to make sure all the grounds on the engine are there. 3 of them on the engine. One on the inner fender panel between solenoid and battery

I am the guy that wrote "]Cranks OK, but No Start Checklist for Fuel Injected 5.0 Mustangs model years 1986-1995". Doing the guessing game or throwing parts at a problem instead of using a time proven resource just doesn't make sense. What have you got to loose? How badly do you want to drive the car?

Probably TFI. Has happened a few times to me. All of a sudden, no spark. Doesn't happen as often now that they moved it off the distributor. I still keep a spare in my toolbox though.

I've used it and don't even own a Fox (just helping a friend)
Guess, buy and check is a amateur approach.

never assume. Spark is bright enough to see in daylight. You should also hear an audible snap.
pics of the 'black ' in the distributor?

That's just good old fashioned spark scatter. Scrape it off the prongs on the cap and the end of the rotor, clean the button on the cap with brake clean on a rag and put it back together.

As plug wires and plugs die the spark scatter gets worse, your don't look so bad.
