Engine soooo

dumb question, idk....would this issue be related to the explorer intake I had installed?
I am the guy that wrote "]Cranks OK, but No Start Checklist for Fuel Injected 5.0 Mustangs model years 1986-1995". Doing the guessing game or throwing parts at a problem instead of using a time proven resource just doesn't make sense. What have you got to loose? How badly do you want to drive the car?

Has happened a few times to me. All of a sudden, no spark.

That sucks, intermittent troubles are the hardest.

I've used it and don't even own a Fox (just helping a friend)
Guess, buy and check is a amateur approach.

Thank for you vote of confidence; I hope to be a help to all those who want to enjoy fixing and driving their Fox body 5.0 Mustangs.:)

alright, finally started the checklist....started with #1....the starter solenoid.....I jumped it and the engine started to crank, but it being light out...I couldn't see a spark, I should assume there was, correct?

never assume. Spark is bright enough to see in daylight. You should also hear an audible snap.
pics of the 'black :poo:' in the distributor?

if this posts twice, sorry
