SOS Switch Panel + SLP Line Lock ...

Well ... I had a Speed of Sound switch panel made up a while back and never got around to using it. I got mine without a hole for a cup or a gauge. I got the panel engraved for all of my switches.

1. Line Lock
2. N20 Open
3. N20 Purge
4. N20 Arm

Well I decided to pick up a SLP Line Lock because the car is about to under go a LOT of stuff. So I figured I'd get it out of the way now. Well, the install was very straight forward. I was able to get all of the wiring hooked up and out of sight. It looks great. The hardest part of the install was running the wiring. The most annoying part was mounting the solenoid to the strut tower. The inside screw was a pain in the butt to do with a regular drill and not a 45 degree drill. I eventually got it in and it works great.

The switch panel is great. However, I can't get the light to light up on the switch. I've got the correct fuse in the fuse holder for the SLP Line Lock and all of the wiring is correct as to the SLP directions. The light will turn on for maybe two times and than it's done. I've gone through two switches so it's not a fluke. I'm trying to get some insight from someone maybe a little bit better with wiring. I'm guessing I need a resistor of some sort. These are the switches ..

What do you guys think? I'm at a lost right now.

Alright so listen to this. I go back to Autozone to pick up another switch. I get home and try it out after putting a new end on it. The wires looked like they could be arcing possibly. Well, it blows that one. So I unplug the wires and switch them all around with another switch. Well nothing happens. I end up putting it back to how it was and it all of a sudden works. When I had first put it in, I put the wires in wrong and it blew the fuse. I'm wondering if some how something got messed up and this reversed it.

Possible. I installed a Walbro hi flow fuel pump once that had me going insane for a whole week until I figured out that the wiring was mislabled and the poles were switched so it was operating in reverse.

I was too chicken to invert the poles for fear of a possible explosion so I let a shop do it and they told me that was the problem. So it is possible your stuff may be marked wrong or the instructions are wrong on it.
