sound and light problem

alright i don't know if this is the right place but its got to do with my sound system so here i go. well i just put a new deck in and it screwed up so i put my old one in and i shot the fuse so i put a new one in. then i tryed my luck with my new deck again and got it to work but there is no sound unless my window is down but i think i know why that is. but now that i got every thing working my interior lights wont turn on.... i have not looked at the fuses yet cuz its to late but i looked at the cover to see what fuse it would be and i don't know what its called....
can some one help me out?

What kind of deck is it? What wiring harness did you use? How did you hook it up?

try pulling out fuse by fuse to find the broken fuse, it will only take about 5 minutes to inspect each fuse, its easy to pull with some needle nose pliers or with the fuse puller that comes attatched to the fuse cover of your mustang (if it came with one), i had a similar problem with my spedometer and a/c lights went out, it was just a blown fuse and i replaced it right away and now i can see how slow i drive at night LOL.
