Anyone got some upgraded sound systems other than just a CD head unit?

I wanna know about speakers, subwoofers, all that stuff. I have 6 speaker that are going in the '65 after I get it running. Two mid-rangers in the rear behind the set (near rear windshield), two mid-rangers in the kick panels, and two tweeters up front somewhere. I also am looking into getting a sub to put in the trunk. I am just wondering if there will be enough room to put an amp probably a 10" sub in the trunk. Any of you have any of this?

i have two 3 x 3 speakers (i think they are in catalogs), two 6 1/2s in the kickpanels, two 6 x 9's in the rear deck, and a 8 inch tube sub in the trunk. it can bang lol. as for entertainment, i put a kenwood 6 disc changer in the trunk with a kenwood am/fm/cassette from that secret audio place (found the real expensive one [260 one] for 50 bux so couldnt pass it up) all in all i have about 200 to 250 bux in sound

What's the wattage rating of your sub? What kind of amp do you have to power it?
Do you have any pics of the sub in the trunk? Thanks!

i am in the middle of making a custom enclosure for the trunk of my stang. it puts one amp on either side of the gas tank in the deep wells in a fiberglass shell and 3 10 inch subs in front of the gas tank where is steps up right there and still have huge trunk space. i am putting 2 mid drivers in the back panels and 2 in the kick panels and horns under the dash for the highs all of the speakers that i am usning are image dynamics. i stand by this product because it is the best and not the most expensice i think there website is imagedynamicsusa.com you have tons of options if you have any questions just hit me up Paul@teameurotuned.com

Right now I have a JVC Head unit-CD, AM, FM. As for speaker i have 2 6x9 pioneers in the back dash. I am going to get the speaker for the front dash. I just got a 400 W Kenwood amp froma friend, and I am going to buy 2 "12 subs and make a box for them in the trunk behind the back seat.

I've got a bunch of pix of my system at my website. A 10" sub and amp in the trunk will still leave lots of room.

Why the overgrown speakers?

Am/fm cassette in dash (analog), probably pumping out 10 watts peak power. Two rinky-dink 6x9 speakers in rear package tray. I prefer the lumpy idle sound of the hydraulic roller cam and roller rockers over the loud thumping, ear piercing, stuff that irrates the crap out of me when they pull up behind me. Us old folks have sensitive ears, so be nice and pity us elders.
