Have a new intake coming and a kit to remove the sound tube. How hard is it to remove this tube on the 16. I've heard you can just yank it out on the 15 but can't on the 16.
Removed that sound tube, took a while it sure was a pain in the a**. Took me a while with a Lil ratchet and a deep socket 10mm and about 100 tiny cranks at it.
Haha that's funny cause that's how I started at work I started in the morning and took it off and put cap on intake then at lunch I went out there and got it off the firewall and filled that hole
And what it's basically for is to take some air from the intake and to push it into the firewall to give the car sort of a sportier sound but when you have an aftermarket exhaust you can't even hear that sound so it's stealing air and it's ugly as hell
