I'm looking at the SSP fan clutch from Performance Parts Inc., but saw that LRS carries a replacement fan clutch and also a replacement kit with the clutch, fan, and radiator deflector. Has anyone used that replacement kit? I'm mainly asking for the price, the SSP is $110 and the kit from LRS is $100. If my fan blades are in good shape I was going to opt for the SSP and not the kit.
You just need a fan clutch? The SSP may be a heavy duty in which case you do not need that. I would go to your local parts store and pick one up, say advance or autozone, standard duty. They are about 50 bucks and you wont have to wait days to get it Its just a fan clutch not a cylinder head or something crazy.
