Hello everyone

I just moved to Charleston, SC and can't seem to find any decent shops. For instance today I called the local ford dealers, some local shops, and the mustang club sponsored shop near by and they want almost $1k just to do gears. That is just labor which is a joke being I paid only $250 to have it done where I used to live. Any help you can provide would be great.

Thank You,

:SNSign:

Cool, Charleston is a REALLY nice place.

I am not framiliar with any shops right around that area, but I live up in Myrtle Beach which is under 2 hours away without hitting alot of traffic.

We have three shops around here that do a good bit of work. Carolina Car Care, Conway Speed Shop, and RS Speedlabs.

Check out CarolinaRides also, lots of parts and cars for sale on there, and someone may be able to guide you to a shop closer to where you are.

Come to think of it, there is one place in Ladson (just outside of Charleston) that might be able to help you. I cannot remember the name of it though, sorry.

That sounds right.

It's off Ladson road, between Dorchester road and the intersection of HWY 78.

Not sure how to contact them, since its been 2 years since I lived there, but WAO Racing in Beaufort should be able to do gears or most anything to a Mustang. They are in Seabrook, just north of Beaufort. They used to be at Carolina Dragway a lot.
