I've got a UPR triple hook that I'll be putting in as soon as I can remove the damn little piece of the quadrant from my clutch pedal called a pawl. Somebody said I'd need spacers for the new quadrant. Is this true and what size do I need and where do I get them if I do?
+1 For years I have never used spacers or anything, not one problem....If there was a legitimate reason for it they would supply them or suggest using them with the instructions. But like Hissin said experiences may vary.....

If you are having problems removing the plastic pawl, you need to release the spring that holds it on. Just slide a screwdriver underneath the end of the spring where it wraps around and pry it off. The pawl will slide right off once the spring is unhooked. You can see what I am talking about here www.maximummotorsports.com. Go to the product instructions, and select clutch quadrant. It has a picture showing how to release it. No need to break anything.
Steeda shows a spacer kit with their quad on their website.
It can also be purchased separately,but I think they include them with their quad now.I could be wrong on this,who cares.
