Ok my 88Gt is stock block with eldlebrock uper and lower, 70mm TB, K&N, um...hollowed out smog pump and MAC LT's and O/R H with 2chamber flows out back. My fuel pressure gauge shows 38-40 psi under throttle and with new O2 sensors and car runs like a champ. Recently put Champion plugs in the car and have no complaints, stock timing , no detonation and motor pulls really hard to about 5600-5700. When I removed my plugs after about 175 miles to take a look at them the electrodes were covered with white/yellow deposit except where the spark transfers (what I call where the spark travels from the arch to the center portion) which is clean and the porcelen (spelling?) is white as if just out of the package..should I be concearned about the look of the plugs ..engine running lean?? and should I be worried about bumping the timing up to 14* from stock. Hey and while your at it give me a Quarter mile guess with 273 gear I'm thinking mid to high 13's if I get lucky with traction.
