spark plug question??

i'm getting ready to fire up my new 347, what plugs do u guys suggest, just for start up, with canfield heads, i will be running colder plugs with nitrous but just looking for a good plug to start with thanks

I run NGK's in all my rides, but I would check with the head mfg to see what they recommend. Try this link to cross to a colder plug. http://www.sparkplugs.com/default.asp

I would not run NGK. Two guys with NGK plugs had spark blowout at the dyno.

I'd say chances are they either had the wrong plug gap, had the wrong temp plugs, a faulty ignition system or a combination of and of the three. There are plenty of guys on turbomustangs running NGK plugs with great success.

Autolite 23's I'm running them with 125 shot a 12deg timming. No ping 92oct gas.
